Two coffee shops in Swindon have received new food hygiene ratings.
Inspectors from Swindon Borough Council visited two branches of the Costa coffee shop chain around the town to check that staff were maintaining a high standard of service and sanitation.
The results of these inspections have now been published on the Food Standards Agency website.
The Costa Ltd inside Next at the Orbital Shopping Park in North Swindon received the full five out of five following an assessment on August 29 after achieving very good standards of hygienic food handling, management of food safety, and cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building.

The Costa kiosk in the Swindon Designer Outlet's Food Quarter also impressed inspectors on September 3. but fell slightly short of the highest possible mark, obtaining an overall rating of four out of five.
Its hygienic food handling and management of food safety were both very good but the cleanliness and condition of the facilities were deemed to be merely generally satisfactory.
The kiosk is one of two sites in McArthurGlen's Rodbourne retail destination, with another on the opposite end, near the West Entrance.
