As part of Trowbridge in Bloom’s entry into South West in Bloom, organisers held a home produce fair with a variety of quality hand-made products and foods.
There was also a miniature garden competition where youngsters created gardens out of a variety of materials, while parents took part in a Grow the Biggest competition with an array of vegetables.
Children also had the opportunity to dress up as their favourite insect or plant in the garden-themed fancy dress competition. All the events were judged at the home produce fair.
Trowbridge in Bloom chairman Jennifer Polledri said: “The Home Produce Fair was an ideal opportunity in which to bring together all different types of organisations in Trowbridge.
“This new initiative under the umbrella of Trowbridge in Bloom encourages both grow your own and healthy eating.
“The community event in Fore Street was colourful and well attended with stall holders displaying impressive, quality fruit, vegetables, flowers, jams, preserves, cakes, home made wines, floral paintings and even some local crafts.”
