ONE TO WATCH: Jordan Bowery

STRIKER Jordan Bowery will carry the threat for the home side as he’ll look to add to his early goal tally.

With three goals already, the former Aston Villa man could prove to be nuisance to Swindon Town’s defence this evening.

Bowery can play in a number of positions and after making an indifferent start to his career, the 27-year-old seems to have found a home in Cheshire since agreeing to sign last year. after representing a total of none teams in the last 10 years.

The striker initially signed on loan from National League side Leyton Orient before making in a permanent move at the end of the season.

Since then, Bowery has notched 15 times in 40 appearances in Crewe colours.

KEY BATTLE: Charlie Kirk v Kyle Knoyle

CHARLIE Kirk is both a scorer and provider for David Artell’s men with two goals and three assists to his name so far this season.

The midfielder, who plays on the left, will come up against Kyle Knoyle this evening at Gresty Road.

Knoyle returns to the side after receiving a three-game ban as a result of his red card in Swindon’s 1-0 win over Morecambe.

Luke Woolfenden has supplied cover for Knoyle while he was suspended.

The former West Ham United man could have his work cut out with Kirk defensively, while he will also be required to imprint his own offensive style of play on Crewe’s 20-year-old.
