HIGH-FLYERS Greyhound and FC Walcot remain locked in battle at the top of the Swindon Sunday League Division One table following their 1-1 draw at the weekend.

Both teams have made solid starts to the campaign, but could not be separated on Sunday.

The draw means both sides have 10 points each, while Greyhound have a far superior goal difference and as a result, occupy top spot.

Steven Nesbitt scored a hat-trick to help fire Woodlands Edge to a 6-2 away win over AFC Mannington.

Steve Leighfield notched twice in addition to David McEwen’s solitary effort to ensure all three points remained at the visitors.

Coleshill United Sunday left it late to get a 2-1 win at home to Highworth Town Sunday as substitute Josh Bolger came off the bench to score.

Croft Junior Sunday and Royal Wootton Bassett Town Sunday had to settle for a share of the spoils as they drew 3-3.

League leaders Chiseldon Sunday maintained their positive run of results with a 3-2 triumph at Athletico Marlborough after goals from Jamie Harris, Ben Vines and Duncan Simpson.

Cricklade Park Rangers came up short against Rudis in a 4-2 loss and Smart Movers also suffered defeat, although slightly heavier, losing 7-1 to Stratton Saints.

In Division Three, Gustoso battered bottom-of-the-table Merlin 15-3.

Kalum Youngsam led the way with four goals, Corey King and Isiah Jackson netted hat-tricks, Jake Simpson got two and there was one goal each for Liam Crabbe, Jason Gunnett and Jason Viola.

Lydiard First and The Abbey Mead drew 2-2, while Nationwide couldn’t make their home advantage count against Swindon Waiting Rooms as they lost 5-2.

Openwork United and PSV Swindon will both be disappointed with a point apeice following their 4-4 draw.

Callum Cormack recorded a double in addition to strikes from Mike McCluskey and James Dixon for Openwork. Max Hackman, Keirren Robins, Aaron Stubbs and James Tinsley netted for PSV.

Elsewhere, Wroughton Reserves won 2-1 at Sevenfield United.
