GREYHOUND got back on the winning trail in the Swindon Sunday League at the weekend thanks to a convincing 6-3 triumph over Woodlands Edge First.

The Division One leaders had failed to win a game since September before completing the league double over their counterparts to regain top spot.

Elsewhere in Division One, AFC Mannington picked up their second win of the season with a narrow 3-2 victory over Highworth Town, and Royal Wootton Bassett Town dispatched Coleshill United 7-2.

In Division Two, league leaders Stratton Saints kept up their 100 per cent record this season with a superb 6-1 away win at table-propers Smart Movers.

Openwork United were victorious in the big clash at the top of Division Three on Sunday. Thomas Holtham scored for Nationwide FC but two goals from Judah Nicholson and a third from Matty Buckingham meant that Openwork leapfrogged Nationwide in the standings to climb into top spot.

Merlin and Sevenfields shared the spoils as they drew 3-3 while Swindon Waiting Rooms overcame PSV Swindon with a surprising 5-2 victory.

Swindon Saracens beat Swindon Rovers 3-1, while Wroughton Rovers beat bottom side The Abbey Mead by three goals to two.
