SWINDON Supermarine lifted themselves into the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division top 10 tonight after beating Poole Town 5-2.

Despite Luke Roberts scoring the opening goal of the game for the hosts, Ryan Campbell and Conor McDonagh quickly put Marine 2-1 up midway through the opening half.

Matt Liddiard then scored Marine’s third to hand Lee Spalding’s troops a two-goal lead at half-time.

The troubled hosts - who were relegated from the National League South last season - conceded two more in the second half as Stuart Fleetwood struck before Conor McDonagh added his second.

Marine are back in action this weekend away at Harrow.
