SWINDON player Katie Griffin collected a runners-up trophy at the sixth leg of the Cuestars U21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours at Greenbaize Snooker Club in Bournemouth.
Griffin suffered defeat in the Plate final to Bradley Cowdroy.
That success marked a double celebration in the Cowdroy household, as while Bradley was collecting the Plate trophy, his younger brother, Adam, was claiming his first Bronze tournament victory.
Home player Bradley, the England U16 captain and current Gold Tour rankings leader, failed to qualify for the knockout rounds of the tournament in Bournemouth by one frame.
But the 16-year-old Premier Junior Tour player went on to beat Griffin in the final of the competition for non-qualifiers.
Griffin is currently fifth on the Bronze Tour and received a 28-point handicap start.
Fareham Snooker Club hosts the seventh of the 10 legs on Sunday, February 24.
