SHRIVENHAM made it 12 Hellenic League Premier Division wins in a row on Saturday as they saw off Lydney Town 3-1 in Gloucestershire.
After a competitive start, Shrivvy began to turn the screw and Antonio Gerrish opened their account.
Gareth Davies’ men then doubled their advantage via an excellent Tom Ballard free-kick midway through the second period.
Lydney halved the deficit five minutes later to set up a nervy finish, however, a deflected shot in the dying moments gave Shrivenham all three points.
Royal Wootton Basset Town’s trip to bottom team Longlevens was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, while Fairford Town also had no game.
