A MELKSHAM hairdresser who was badly beaten by her fiancé, after he swept her off her feet in a whirlwind romance, has thanked Wiltshire Police and domestic abuse charity Splitz for helping her through her ordeal.
Lyndsey Yarwood, 34, was assaulted by former Peaky Blinders extra Oliver Cox, four months after they met. She tried to check out his past, using Clare’s Law, but he did not come up on the system, possibly as he had changed his name. l Full story: Page 5
