TROWBRIDGE’S Chris Oliver was in a class of his own at the second round of the NG Road Race Championships at Snetterton, notching four race wins from four starts.

On board his The Garage-backed R 1 Yamaha, Oliver start his first seven-lap Metzeler 1300cc streetstock race from second on the grid.

After dropping to third initially, Oliver was back up to second by the halfway point before taking the lead in the closing stages to take victory by 1.27 seconds.

The Trowbridge racer dominated his second race, taking victory by 6.4 seconds.

Again, Oliver led from the start in race three, although he had to fend off some very strong challenges as the top three riders were all three covered by just 0.62 seconds.

Oliver eventually took victory by just 0.25 seconds and is now up to second in the championship, just two points behind leader Jason Hill.

Alongside that triple triumph, Oliver also won 1300cc Newcomers race by 3.69 seconds.
