SWINDON Croquet Club is holding an Open Day on Sunday to mark National Croquet Day.

This special day will commence with the Mayor of Swindon, Junab Ali, running the first hoop at 10am. Local MP Robert Buckland will also be joining in the fun.

Swindon Croquet Club is based at Cheney Manor Playing Fields and boasts impressive facilities, including three full-size lawns and a modern, well-equipped clubhouse.

Equipment (mallets and balls) will be provided with club members on hand to assist beginners and to serve refreshments.
