RAGED UK promoter Gary Turland is adamant next week’s show at the Oasis Leisure Centre features a selection of the best fighters in the country.
Headlined by Craig ‘Brawlins’ Rawlins, the show – which will be held on May 25 – is the 10th to be hosted in the Raged UK MMA series.
The show has evolved from a club event into a show that attracts fighters away from British shores, and has resulted in a number of competitors gaining professional contracts.
Wiltshire’s Kent Kauppinen and Swindon’s Phil Wells have both signed to Cage Warriors’ show since appearing on the Raged stage.
And promoter Turland insists the show’s move to the Oasis can only serve as a boost towards the events credentials.
He said: “Many people are excited to watch one of the main events of the evening for the welterweight title.
“Lawrence Jordan Tracey against Wes Murch is a mouth-watering fight, and huge in the world of MMA.
“I am so extremely grateful to everyone who has bought tickets and is coming to support, all my sponsors, my small circle of staff behind me and to all the fighters and coaches.”
The event is also set to attract several big-name fighters, including middleweight champion Lukasz Marcinkowski and 47-year-old veteran Paul Reed.
