THREE members of Bradford on Avon Swimming Club’s junior water polo squad have been selected to represent the South West at the national inter-district tournaments in Blackpool next month.
Katie Cooper, aged 15, and Maddie Brady, who turns 14 at the end of May, have both been picked for the girls’ team, while 15-year-old James Seller is named in the boys’ squad.
Seller, who is a pupil at St Laurence School, has already made appearances for Bradford’s men’s team in the Bristol & West League.
There will be further recognition for the club later in the year when junior coach Jim Robinson leads the South West girls’ team in the U14 inter-district tournament.
