FOUR people in Chippenham have got a thousand reasons to celebrate last Monday after they woke up to the news that they had won £1,000 each, all thanks to their postcode.
The Chestnut Road neighbours won when their postcode of SN15 4RP was announced as a winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on May 6.
Judie McCourt of the lottery said: “Finding out that you’ve won the lottery on a long bank holiday weekend is such lovely news, so I’m delighted for our winners in Chippenham! I hope they spoil themselves with the cash.”
A third of ticket sales goes directly to charity.
