SWINDON Supermarine Women were crowned Wiltshire County Ladies Cup champions at the weekend following a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Warminster Sky Blues.
Shannon King got Marine off to a perfect start when she opened the scoring on 19 minutes, before further strikes from Emma Wilson and Sarah Rayworth stretched their lead to 3-0 by half-time.
Lois Elyse Beer took just three minutes after the break to extend Supermarine’s lead to four, before Wilson grabbed her second on 56 minutes to make it 5-0.
King secured her brace on the hour mark before Alice Candy bagged her first, scoring on 75 minutes.
Wilson then doubled her tally to round off the game with less than 10 minutes to play.
Marine face Salisbury on Sunday in their final battle of the season to secure either mid-table or a promotion spot into the South West Women’s Football League.
