A DENTAL surgery in Devizes is doing its bit to raise money for charity and boost recycling.
Long Street Dental has joined in the Colgate Oral Care recycling programme which raises money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the TePe environmental recycling initiative pilot. It is a drop off point for the Colgate project which is for old toothbrushes and toothpaste cartons.
The TePe scheme is just for the brand’s interdental brushes and allows them to be collected and then incinerated to generate energy for heating and bottom ash for road and car park surfacing.
In the past these brushes have not been suitable for recycling. Special bins will be in reception.
