Swindon Croquet Club’s Terry Hunt/Johnny Witts Charity Tournament was well supported by club members and their friends, with more than 50 entrants raising £375 for charity.
The club will donate a further £25, so a cheque for £400 is to be presented to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The tournament was started by Terry Hunt and, since his death, the club has organised the event annually and fulfilled its commitment to raising funds for charity.
John Witts was captain of the Extra Time team, which competes against the Swindon club team every year.
Charity was definitely the winner on the day, although the Memorial Shield was won by Swindon Croquet Club after a 21-15 victory.
