WET weather hit the Swindon Sunday League this weekend, with all but three games called off across the three divisions.

Two of the fixtures to take place were played in Division One, with another in Division Three, meaning there was no action at all in Division Two as a total of 12 games were postponed in total.

Despite the low match tally, goals still flowed as 25 were scored in total across the three games.

Ten of those came as Greyhound played host to FC Walcot in Division One, with the points shared following a 5-5 draw.

The teams began the day in fourth and third respectively in the table – and the result meant there was no change in their positions.

Stratton Saints claimed a 4-2 success away at Openwork United – their first victory of the season to see them climb off the foot of the table in the process.

Sam Long struck twice for Stratton, with Jamie Stones and Justin Webb also on target. Ryan Mason and Judah Nicholson replied for Openwork.

There was also a first win of the season for Swiss Chalet in Division Three as they were 6-3 victors at home to Swindon Rovers.

Tafari Anderson and Connor Andrew both struck twice for Chalet and there was a goal each for Daniel Black and Chester Dolisznyj.

Rovers' goals came from Sam Lacey (2) and Sean Lewis.
