SWINDON Town will play Cheltenham Town at the Jonny Rocks Stadium in the first round of the FA Cup.
The draw, made live on BBC Two on Monday night from Maldon and Tiptree FC, confirmed Richie Wellens’ side will make the short trip up the A419 to their Gloucestershire-based rivals.
Town’s visit to the Jonny Rocks Stadium presents Wellens will the ideal opportunity to earn Swindon’s first ever victory against Cheltenham away from home in all competitions.
All eight visits to Cheltenham have resulted in either a draw or defeat for Town.
Elsewhere, National League South outfit Chippenham Town were handed a home tie against League Two outfit Northampton Town.
