SWINDON Town will be at home in the second round of the FA Cup – should they overcome next week’s replay against Cheltenham Town.

The winners of Town’s replay against Cheltenham will host fellow League Two side Port Vale following Monday night's draw.

Swindon and Cheltenham must meet for a second time after Saturday’s original first-round tie ended in a 1-1 draw at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

The rematch will take place at the Energy Check County Ground on Tuesday, November 19.

The winners of that match will then entertain the Valiants in the second round on the weekend of November 30.

Swindon have reached the second round in each of the last two seasons.

In the 2018-19 campaign, they suffered a humbling 1-0 defeat at home to non-league side Woking.

That match was just Richie Wellens' fourth in charge of Swindon, having replaced Phil Brown at the helm less than a month earlier.

Twelve months prior, a Town side managed by David Flitcroft were beaten 5-2 away at League Two rivals Stevenage.

Swindon have not progressed beyond the second round since the 2011-12 season, reaching the fourth round.

Meanwhile, Town have slashed prices for next week’s first-round replay against Cheltenham, with adults able to attend for £10.

O65s, students and U21s will gain entry for £5. Under 11s will be admitted for £2.
