ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Wiltshire Police have been given a further six months to keep £1,500 cash seized from Pellumb Muca, of Keats Close, on October 18. Police believe the cash was property obtained through crime or it is intended to fund crime.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: James Stanley, 25, of Peasedown St John, Bath, was fined £120 for being twice over the drink drive limit. The white Transit van driver was given a 19-month roads ban and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

MELKSHAM: James Stamford, 34 of Thackery Crescent was remanded on bail until December 23 after pleading not guilty to to drink driving in a Vauxhall Groundland in Giffords Surgery car park, Spa Road on March 10.

CALNE: Shannon Jackett, 24 of Mallard Close was remanded on bail until December 4 after pleading guilty to an assault in July. A pre-sentence report will now be prepared.

CRICKLADE: Jack Hope, 32 of Common Hill was sentenced to four weeks imprisonment after pleading guilty to stealing three woodwick candles, to the value of £76.97 from Boots, Canal Walk, Swindon in November,

CALNE: Julian Smith, 36 of no fixed address pleaded guilty to stealing £400 worth of alcohol from Sainsburys in Chippenham in September, and pleaded not guilty to stealing £200 worth of meat and £120 worth of alcohol from Sainsburys in Calne. He has been remanded on bail until December 16.

CHIPPENHAM: Carl Mallinson, 30 of Daniell Drive was remanded on bail until January 20 2020 after pleading not guilty to damaging an iPhone 7.

WARMINSTER: Anthony Mead, 43 of Westleigh was sentenced to 120 days in prison and fined £115 after pleading guilty to being in possession of 23 live bullets without holding a firearms certificate He also pleaded guilty to being in possession of a small amount of cannabis.

WESTBURY: Darren Andrews, 37 of no fixed address was given a community order and fined £205 after pleading not guilty to an assault in September.

DEVIZES: A warrant for arrest was issued for Dwayne Jones, 23 of a canal boat near a pub on Honey Street after he was found guilty of assault and sending offensive and indecent messages and failing to surrender to bail.

TROWBRIDGE: Reuben Anderson, 20 of Bond Street has been charged with driving whilst disqualified and whilst having no insurance. The case was moved to November 19.

DEVIZES: Emma Ferris, 35 of Shee Street was remanded on bail until December 17 after being found guilty of harassment in the form of voicemails, emails, letters and texts.

TROWBRIDGE: Robbie Shore, 23 of Ashmead was fined £580 after pleading guilty to driving a black VW Golf in Lowbourne car park, Melksham whilst under the influence of drugs as well as being in possession of cannabis in March.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: David Jack, 33, of Garraways, will face a Swindon judge over accusations he set a fire on Eddleston Road, near Ocotal Way. Appearing before Swindon magistrates, Jack entered no pleas to charges that he committed arson being reckless as to whether life would be endangered and possession of an offensive weapon – namely an ice axe - in a public place. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 22 for a plea and trial preparation hearing

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: A serial shoplifter has swerved jail – but been banned from almost every single shop in the country for the next year. Beau Houghton, 42, of Haydon Court, Swindon stole boys clothing from Matalan, Blu Ray discs and DVDs from HMV, CDs from Boots and a 32 inch TV from Tesco in Cirencester. He was sentenced to the 18-month suspended sentence order, with a requirement to complete a six month drug rehabilitation programme. He has been banned from every shop in the country except for the Carfax Street pharmacy, Ocotal Way Tesco, Esso petrol station in Royal Wootton Bassett and shops or kiosks at Great Western Hospital.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Danny Cooper, 24, of Sambourne Road, Malmesbury, admitted driving a Ford Tipper on Swindon Road, Royal Wootton Bassett, without insurance. He was fined £250, banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £115 in costs and surcharge.
