KNOCKOUT Cup action took centre stage in the Swindon Sunday League at the weekend and FC Walcot made the biggest statement with an emphatic 8-0 win at home to Boundary House.
Penhill United were also impressive winners as they thrashed Jovial Monk 7-1.
Things were not so straightforward for AFC Mannington, who edged out Sevenfields United 5-4.
Highworth Town Sunday beat Swindon Saracens 5-3, Atletico Marlborough were 4-1 winners at PSV Swindon, while Croft Junior were the final side to progress after seeing off Nationwide 4-0.
There were no matches at all in Division One, while only one took place in Division Two as Gorsehill Borough edged to a 3-2 win at home to RH Woodlands Edge.
A total of four Division Three fixtures took place, the most high profile of which saw AFC Stratton move level on points with leaders Boundary House after a 5-0 win at bottom side Ridgeway Rovers.
Tom Bracey struck twice, while there was a goal each for Alasdair Little, Dane Moulden and Lewis Dickinson.
Covingham United are two points behind in third after a 4-1 win at home to Swindon Rovers.
Will Lewis got two of Covingham’s goals, with Dan Hulse and Kamil Singh also on target. Gareth Morris replied for Rovers.
Bakers Arms were 2-0 winners at 147SC, while it was honours even between Swiss Chalet and Smartmovers as they shared a 2-2 draw.
