Around 15 Chippenham based environment groups will be lobbying the council Area Board next week.
The board will focus on climate change at it's next meeting to be held at the Sheldon School Refectory
6pm – 9pm on Monday February 3.
Representatives of local organisations acting for change will be there issues, explaining what they are working on and hoping to achieve, and how people can get involved.
will begin with a keynote speech by Councillor Richard Clewer, a Wiltshire Council cabinet member with responsibility for Climate Change.
All attending will then be invited to participate in an informal small group workshop aiming to identify what people think are the main actions and policy leads local government should take, how these can be supported in the community, and which should take most urgent priority.
