PAY what you want for a day of yoga to raise money for children’s charity, Tumaini.
Devizes-based yoga teacher, Helen Langford, came up with the idea for a day of yoga to be held at Pewsham Community Centre, Chippenham, on March 29.
Helen said: “Tumaini,is a school and day care centre in a small town near Nairobi, Kenya. It supports the educational, social and emotional needs of over 500 children. Many of these students are orphans and refugees, who arrive to find sanctuary.
“Recently, the centre’s key food-supplier hit a crisis, which in turn means that Tumaini are now struggling to feed their 500 children each day.
“So drop-in, make a donation and experience a great class with local, experienced teachers. Classes will start on the hour. We’ll also have refreshments and complementary therapies.”
