LONGLEAT Safari Park announces alteration to its opening procedures.

From Friday (March 20) Longleat is changing its working practice in light of the ongoing coronavirus situation.

The Safari Park drive-through will remain open to visitors as normal; while Longleat House, the walkthrough animal areas and other attractions are temporarily closed.

Longleat is keen to continue to give people the opportunity to enjoy the Park in a safe and secure environment. Therefore, a new Safari admission ticket is being made available for visitors to book online or purchase upon arrival.

In order to comply with the strictest hygiene standards, card payment pads will be disinfected after each transaction. Cash will not be handled during this period.

Toilet facilities within the Safari Park will be continuously staffed and disinfected, with additional hand washing and sanitising facilities available for guests.

In place of the usual food and beverage outlets, there will be a takeaway food and drink offering at the beginning of the Safari experience.

All policies are designed to comply with guidelines on social distancing.

These measures are temporary and we intend for them to remain in place for as short a time as is necessary. At this stage we are expecting to maintain the measures until the end of April.

The decision is under daily review and will be guided by the advice we receive from the government and Public Health England.
