Town legend John Trollope returns to the first-team line-up for the trip to face Exeter City, just three weeks after announcing his retirement

1999: Glass goes on to make history

Swindon allowed goalkeeper Jimmy Glass to join Third Division strugglers Carlisle United on loan. He would go on to famously net in the final minute of the season’s last game to save the Cumbrians from relegation to the Conference.

2003: Parkin steals the show

Deadly hitman Sam Parkin netted a hat-trick as Town romped to a 5-0 victory over Notts County in Division Two, the team striking four times in the second half. It was Parkin's second hat-trick of the season amid 26 goals in total. Current Swindon goalkeeping coach Steve Mildenhall was the unlucky man between the sticks for County.

2014: Smith ends barren run

The most recent game Town played on March 22 saw promotion hopefuls Preston North End beaten 1-0 at the County Ground, Michael Smith netting from the spot to seal a first win in eight matches.
