KIND-hearted staff at Chippenham's B and Q store have brightened up the day for a poorly, housebound 10-year-old girl.

The store manager arranged for a gift of plants and flowers to be sent to Ella Dick for her sensory garden.

"I had explained that we were shielding our daughter Ella who has a degenerative neurological condition," said mum Louise Dicks. "She has been very unwell in hospital three times from September, arriving home from intensive care in February, shortly before the pandemic.

"Thank you. You have brightened up our lives, at a time we, like many, are experiencing great pressures."
