A Malmesbury man has been disqualified from driving for nearly two years after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
Dylan Keeton, 54, of Bremhilham Road, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on July 1.
At about 8.30pm on March 2, officers arrived at the scene of a Toyota which had ended up in a ditch at the side of Common Road in Corston.
Keeton was sat in the driver's seat of the vehicle - and he was arrested after failing a roadside breath test.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and alcohol was found on the back seat.
At court yesterday he was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 23 months and fined £923.
He was also given a 12-month community order, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.
If you suspect a drink driver, call police on 101 or 999 if the crime is in progress and give as much information as possible, including a description of driver and vehicle and their direction of travel.
