SWINDON Town were 2-1 winners over a Brentford B team in their second friendly of Saturday afternoon.
After one Town XI drew 1-1 at Bristol City, another took on the Bees’ second string at the County Ground in a 3pm kick-off.
All of the goals arrived in the first half. Joe Adams but the West Londoners ahead but Hallam Hope and Scott Twine netted to give Town an interval lead – and they retained it in a goalless second half.
The win rounded off Town’s pre-season programme and they kick-off the 2020/21 season with a home Carabao Cup clash with Charlton Athletic on September 5.
