Chippenham's covid objects are now on display at the museum.

The exhibition brings together objects, images and artworks donated to the museum by local businesses and the community during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The exhibition includes everything from lockdown inspired artworks to stockpiled toilet rolls.

Chippenham’s community spirit during the pandemic can be seen through projects such the John Coles Park Rainbow and Colin the Covid Caterpillar.

Chippenham Mayor, Councillor Teresa Hutton said: “The pandemic is not over, but we hope this exhibition demonstrates how our community has worked together to get through this difficult period.”

Melissa Barnett, Head of Heritage and Museum Services, said: “We will continue to document this time, enabling future generations to look back and understand what the country went through during this period.”
