Hardenhuish have been taking part in Hello Yellow, run by the charity Young Minds.
People across the country come together to wear something yellow to demonstrate their support for mental health in young people and show others that they are not alone. Year 12 and 13 students dressed to show their support as well as singing the classic Beatles song ‘Yellow Submarine’ during lunchtime.
Year 13 Student and Mental Health Representative Naomi White said: “Mental health is a factor that affects everyone.
"It was amazing to see how the sixth form pulled together to promote good mental health and destigmatise its issues.”
Pupils in years 7 – 11 wore yellow accessories and were also given the opportunity to take part in an adapted photo booth with friends from within their year group.
