CHIPPENHAM Kickboxing Academy’s Ebony Beaven clinched the WKMA Ladies u55kg area title with a comfortable success over Worthing’s Stef Mullins.
The 17-year-old, trained by Annabelle and Kev Shoob at the academy, triumphed in her first title fight after three years in training.
The duo clashed nearly two years ago over three two-minute rounds, with Beaven losing out, but after a much-delayed rematch over five rounds, Beaven claimed the honours on her opponent’s own patch.
Chippenham Kickboxing Academy competitors next head to the WRSA world championships, in France in February, with Beaven, Annabelle Shoob, Richard Lloyd, Poppy Maslen and Ewan Doig taking part with the Shoobs again coaching.
