THE Swindon & District Dart League, sponsored by the Swindon Advertiser, held its presentation night at Rodbourne Cheney Working Men’s Club.

A blind pairs competition on the night was won by Lee Evans and Dan Wey, who beat Keith Williams and Chris Daglish. The losing semi finalists were Ian Glass/Mark Cox and Tony Moulden/Mark Hancock.

A special award was presented to Evans and Gary Court (Old Bear) for hitting a perfect nine-dart leg in their match on October 27 last year against the Fox & Hounds.

Chris Savvery, who won the ladies’ highest number of 180s, is a Welsh International while Dennis Smith and Evans are both PDC players along with Josh McCarthy.

Johnny Haines, Mark Cox and Steve Willard are former PDC players.

Registration for the summer 2018 season is now open and the league’s annual meeting will be held on Friday, March 8, with an 8pm start at Rodbourne Cheney WMC.
