TROWBRIDGE narrowly missed out on making it three straight victories in South West One East at the weekend when they suffered a narrow 25-24 defeat at home to lowly Witney last weekend.
Dan Jeffries’ side endured a tough start to the season following their promotion from Southern Counties South last term and won just one of their opening seven fixtures.
However, they have found form over the last month or so to claim back-to-back wins away at Stratford Upon Avon and at home to Salisbury.
A weekend off seemed to halt their momentum, though, as struggling Witney picked up a one-point win at Doric Park to claim just a second victory of the campaign themselves.
Trowbridge go on the road this weekend when they make the trip to Dorset to take on Wimborne.
