We are treating this weekend as we would any play-off weekend.

The kind of intensity and level we will have to play at to win will be the same as any post-season game.

Having said that, every weekend that we’re going in to at the moment feels like a make-or-break weekend.

Aaron (Nell) has constantly been reiterating how the next game is the biggest one of the year, and he’s right.

Each game carries more pressure and we’re getting closer to that end point which is the play-offs.

We want to come out on top. In order to do that, we’ve got to carry on with the same work rate and mentality as before – we’ve got to be consistent all over the ice.

And we’ve all got to be leaders.

No matter what the job is, how old you are, how long you’ve been playing for, what your job in the team is or how much ice-time you’re getting, everybody has got to go out onto the ice, step up and be a leader.

We can’t rely on certain players to score big goals all the time – we should all try to pitch in and play our part.

If we do that, we will have a fantastic weekend.
