SWINDON skipper Jason Doyle is looking to round off his Grand Prix campaign in style this weekend.

Doyle sits in sixth place in the current standings after a stunning recovery from a shocking opening two rounds in August.

The Australian fought his way back into the automatic qualification places for the 2021 series and wants to stay there – and climb higher – when he takes his place in Torun tonight and tomorrow.

Poland’s Bartosz Zmarzlik is the series leader and his favourite to win a second successive title, with former Wolverhampton duo Freddie Lindgren and Tai Woffinden in second and third.

Doyle said: "I'm going into both nights just to give my best and see where it gets me.

"I'm feeling pretty good on the bike at the moment and I'm confident after my recent performances in the GP.

"Hopefully we can have a couple of good nights to round off the GP series on a positive note."

Both rounds of the Grand Prix will be shown live on BT Sport with racing set to start at 6pm UK time.
