WARMINSTER Town conceded an added-time goal away at Portishead Town on Saturday as Andy Crabtree’s men were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw in Western League Division One.

Portishead Town took the lead against the run of play in the 14th minute with a superb low drive from the left, driven across Hotine’s goal into the far-right corner.

Warminster remained unperturbed and continued to create chances, particularly by the hard-working Francois Allen who failed to hit the target on a couple of occasions later on in the half.

However, Warminster’s equaliser did eventually come in first-half stoppage time.

From a corner, Jeffrey’s kick was headed clear and landed well outside of the box at Lisowski’s feet who fired the ball back on target towards goal.

His shot was deflected off a defender, standing close to the goal, and into his net.

Throughout the second half, Warminster were strong and creating chances.

Ten minutes into the half, Jack Miluk was fouled in the penalty area. Jeffery stepped up to calmly slot the ball home with the keeper diving the wrong way.

Just as Warminster had equalised in additional time in the first half, Portishead Town did the same at the end of the second.

The home side won a free-kick which was headed and fired home low beating defender De-Silva and keeper Hotine.

Following the point, Warminster moved up to sixth place in the table courtesy of 10 points from their opening five games.

Elsewhere, Corsham Town made it three wins from three after a 3-1 victory away at Cheddar.

Despite Will Stead seeing red, a brace from Lewis Powell and a goal from Jamal Chevelleau secured the points for Kieran Baggs’ side.

Nathan Davis netted as Calne Town beat Wells City 1-0 while Devizes Town were thumped 7-1 at home to Bristol Telephones - Ben Tylee was Town’s scorer.

In the Premier Division, Joe Stradling struck as Westbury United drew 2-2 with Bridgwater Town while Bradford Town lost 6-1 to Exmouth Town.
