ROYAL Wootton Bassett Town secured their second Hellenic League Premier Division win in a row as they defeated Hallen 1-0 in manager Sam Collier’s 100th league game in charge on Saturday.
Matt Bennett was the hero after he struck in the 15th minute of a tight affair at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.
Bassett were unable to follow up their weekend victory with another positive result in midweek, however, as Collier’s men lost 4-1 at home to Cribbs - Gio Wrona scoring the hosts’ consolation goal.
Elsewhere in the Hellenic League, no other Wiltshire side managed a victory over the course of the past week.

Calne Town lost 4-1 away at Malvern Town on Saturday in a game where the visitors also saw Declan McStravick sent off in the second half.
Already 4-0 down, Rhys Talmash’s late penalty was nothing more than a consolation for Calne.

George Box scored a 90th-minute leveller for Bradford Town as they drew 1-1 at home to Westfields at the weekend.
In Southern League Division One South, Melksham Town blew a two-goal lead at the InfiLED Arena in a 2-2 draw with Winchester City.
Albie Hopkins and Luke Ballinger got Melksham off to a flying start before Winchester struck twice either side of the break to claim a point.
