SWINDON Town Supporters Trust board member Alex Pollock provides an efficient update on continued steady progress for the club, the attempted improvement of the match-day experience, and the introduction of flexi-tickets.

Doesn’t it feel great to be a Town fan, once again? There’s so much positivity to look at on the pitch over the last couple of months, with wins over Bristol Rovers, Forest Green, Plymouth Argyle, Sutton United, Oldham Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, and Newport County earlier this week.

But it’s also fantastic to see steady progress off the field, too. At the start of the season, Rob Angus was very keen to stress the club wouldn’t always get everything right, as he and Clem look to rectify years of neglect.

However, with the open dialogue, transparency, and willingness to engage with fans and local media, it’s easy to understand decisions, why they’re being made, and what’s coming next.

Alongside this, our board members continue to engage with different departments at the club, supporting them wherever possible, and continuing to make recommendations on how best to move forward with areas like fan engagement and the matchday experience.

The minutes from the latest Advisory Board with the club and supporter’s groups can be found on the cub’s website, and if any Trust members have feedback on these, please do let us know.

As the season was kicking off, the Trust received plenty of feedback from members and fans regarding ticketing options, primarily around the desire for half-season tickets along with flexible bundles were made - for a variety of valid reasons.

The club has this week announced the availability for both of these options online and from the ticket office, and we’d like to encourage as many fans as possible to take advantage of this.

This weekend’s fixture against Crawley Town has been postponed due to international call-ups. The club has released information around the refund process for tickets which has now begun.

But if you still need a football fix, here’s your friendly reminder that Hungerford Town, Chippenham Town and Melksham Town are all playing at home this weekend!

See you all on Tuesday, November 23 for the game against Hartlepool United, under the lights!
