Swindon Town have announced that their annual friendly with Swindon Supermarine will take place again this summer.
Town will make the short trip to the Webbswood Stadium on Saturday, July 9, with the game kicking off at 3pm.
A full-strength Town team is set to be in action at South Marston and ticket details will be announced in due course.
The match has taken place every year apart from 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In 2021, Town won 3-2 and now the League Two side will return to the Webbswood Stadium for the game.
Swindon Town will be hoping to have a solid pre-season ahead of the new campaign, following their play-off heartbreak.
The Reds lost on penalties to Port Vale in the League Two play-off semi-final despite Harry McKirdy’s brace in the first leg.
There could be more turmoil on the way, with manager Ben Garner being rumoured to take over the reins at Charlton Athletic in League One
