KERR Alison Elaine (nee Saunders) 20.8.61-9.9.2016 It is with great sadness that Alison was taken from us after much suffering on Friday 9th September in hospital at Nuneaton with her dearly loved Husband and soulmate Ashley and loved Daughter Samantha by her side. (Alison and Ashley attended both Moreden and Hreod Burna Schools.) Also loved Mum of James and Nana of Scott, Sophie and Harley. Cherished daughter of Joan and the late Ken Saunders formerly of Greenhill Road, Moredon. Caring sister of Debbie, Pamela and Marilyn and Sister-in-law of Nathan, Johnny, Miles, Nina, Dave, Shellie and Mother-in-law of Mark, beloved Auntie of ten and Friend to many. Devoted Daughter-in-Law of Janet and Don. (We could not have wished for a kinder or more caring Wife for our Son, Married just eleven days short of thirty-six years together.) The George Eliot Hospital Coronary Care Unit ward (with much loved adjoining garden) provided exemplary care of both Alison and Ashley throughout her long illness, continuing to the present day with support following her loss. For more details please contact 07939 134183. Alison always avoided cut flowers, preferring their beauty should be preserved and appreciated, ideally when left to grow naturally. Casket cut flower arrangements only are planned. If you would like to make a donation in Alison’s memory, we will be collecting for the Coronary Care Unit at George Eliot Hospital on the day of the funeral. Anyone wishing to donate directly, please post cheques made payable to Coronary Care Unit, George Eliot Hospital, to; A Natural Undertaking Limited, 6 South Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 7SE where they will be forwarded on to the charity.
