When did you first take interest in cooking, and when did you decide you wanted to become a chef?
From watching my mother cooking in the sergeants mess when my father was in the Royal Air Force in Abingdon.
Where did you do your training?
The Royal School of Catering in London
How would you describe the style of food in your restaurant?
Good, wholesome home cooked, pub food.
Do you have a signature dish? If so what?
Steamed pork loin served on a bed of buttered asparagus with a sweet potato mash topped with a reduced honey glaze.
What would you order from your own menu?
Bakerstreet Burger ( homemade beef burger with bacon and egg)
What is your favourite vegetable, and why?
Potato, down to its versatility
Favourite dessert?
Chocolate cake with Chantilly cream
Do you cook a lot at home? What do you cook?
Curry, steak, fresh pasta, Chinese.
Where else locally do you like to eat?
Fabios, Weybridge
