Queens Drive closed as pedestrian is hit by car

A SECTION of Queens Drive is likely to be closed all morning following a collision between a car and a pedestrian shortly after 9am.

The pedestrian is a 65-year-old man was treated by paramedics for head injuries after being struck by a Ford Focus and has been taken to the Great Western Hospital.

The carriageway heading towards Coate Water Roundabout could be shut from Wolsely Avenue for up to five hours.
