SINGING sensation Katherine Jenkins has been announced as the latest act to appear at this summer’s Forest Live concerts at Westonbirt Arboretum.

The Forestry Commission’s project is taking place across a range of dates this summer, with the OBE holder confirmed to play at Westonbirt, near Tetbury, Gloucestershire on July 20, two days after Boyzone take to the stage.

The 33-year-old last played the venue to a capacity crowd in 2008, and said: “I am really looking forward to returning to Westonbirt Arboretum this summer to perform again in such a beautiful location.”

The concert will include a selection of Katherine’s favourite works as well as classic proms repertoire.

Katherine will be backed by the National Symphony Orchestra, with conductor Anthony Inglis also involved in the concert, priced at £39.60 including booking fee.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday from either the Forestry Commission’s box office via 03000 680 400, or online at

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission, bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on caring for this internationally important tree collection and improving the arboretum for both people and wildlife.
