Kingsdown Road closed after accident - two air ambulances in attendance

AN accident has caused the closure of Kingsdown Road this afternoon.
The crash, which was reported to emergency services shortly after 1pm, between the crematorium and the crematorium roundabout on the A361.
Wiltshire Police are advising motorists to find an alternative route.
The road is set to be closed for some time.
Three ambulances are currently on scene, as well as two air ambulances.
It is believed a silver Volvo V40 has gone over the bridge, turned the corner, and hit the verge before crashing into a tree.
The fire service are also in attendance and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the man. Crews also assisted in getting the man to the air ambulance before he was taken to hospital.
The crematorium is still accessible, but from the Stratton side only.
