A STREET near the railway station has been closed this afternoon while emergency services deal with an incident.
Police officers and fire crews are currently in London Street, which is believed to have been closed to traffic.
A sheet of metal appears to be loose on top of a building and police have concerns that if it were to fall, it could cause serious danger to motorists and pedestrians.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called to the industrial units off London Street at 2.55pm for a report of a dangerous structure. An aluminium roof bar section had come off its original roofing and was resting on another building."
