£500 donation for the scouts' HQ

TAYLOR Wimpey has given £500 to a Scout group in Highworth to help with the renovation of their headquarters.
The leading housebuilder, which is building new homes at its Heyworth Heights development in Highworth, made the generous donation to 1st Highworth Scout Group to help fund sound insulation work within the main hall.
David Roblin, chairman of 1st Highworth Scout Group, said: “I’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their kind donation, which will help us continue to upgrade the facilities for the youngsters and leaders.
"Taylor Wimpey’s donation will help fund the work to reduce the noise, which will make a big difference to our sessions.”
Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “We are committed to supporting the local communities in which we build our new homes and our donation is a great example of how we can help local groups and organisations."
