Woman defends herself against PS3 robbers

AN ATTEMPTED robber tried to grab a woman's new Playstation 3 from outside her home after midnight.
The shopper had returned from Toys R Us with the £425 games console, which went on sale last night.
She parked her car outside her home in Whitbourne Avenue.
Another vehicle pulled up alongside her and a man jumped out and tried to seize the woman's shopping bag containing the Playstation 3. He pushed her to the ground and kicked her.
The woman managed to fight off the attacker and hang on to her Playstation. The robber then sped off with an accomplice.
The resident dialled 999 at around 12.30am.
The police traced a car that had drove off at speed from the Toys R Us car park in Oxford Road. Two men have been arrested for attempted robbery.
