FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a blaze in Stratton this morning after a plastic bag was left on the cooker.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said that Swindon wholetime and Stratton retained crews attended the scene of the fire in Wordsworth Drive at 10.45am.
He added: "The fire was out on arrival but there was light smoke logging to the property due to a plastic plate being left on the cooker. Positive Pressure Ventilation was used to clear the smoke."
