LITTER pickers discovered a broken bath thrown into the River Og during a spring clean event in Marlborough.
The return of snowy conditions on Sunday meant the event was cancelled for the second time, but volunteers visited Salisbury Road, the river Og and Barton Park during Friday and Saturday.
As well as the bath, bottles, coffee cups and bagged up dog poo was all removed from the river and Stonebridge Wild River Reserve.
Anna Forbes, of Action for the River Kennet said: “Despite the cold weather we had thirteen enthusiastic volunteers clearing the River Og and the surrounding land including Bay Bridges lay-by of rubbish."
